oh yes, it's a great shot... the attitude of the young guy, the little girl on the left is great too, the spectators, evreything is a special moment of the life of these people... The crop is perfect and the perspective too.
Black and white gives to this picture a "out of time" feeling...

Thank you for the thoughts my friend. You're right though, a certain contrast does have a certain timeless to it. For me it's best personified by the grainy 60s photo journalist stuff. I'd really like to emulate that technique....

Such a good shot, totally captures the community side with all the different people in the background and the bloke with the camcorder. The colour (or rather lack of) works well too
